Alla Hurska joined ICPS as an intern in April 2013. Ms. Hurska studied English Philology at the Rivne Institute of Slavic Studies under the Kyiv Slavics University and obtained her first MA in this discipline in 2002. In 2013, Ms. Hurska received her second MA, in International Relations, from Collegium Civitas (Warsaw). In 2011-2012, Ms. Hurska was an Erasmus student studying Political Science at the University of Potsdam (Germany).

During her studies in Warsaw, Ms. Hurska was also carrying out research as an intern at Adam Smith Research Foundation. Her main areas of study included comparative analysis of the socio-economic environment and newly emerging trends and tendencies in the domain of economics and internal policies in Poland, Ukraine and Germany.

Ms. Hurskas areas of interests include Ukraines foreign and security policy as well as issues related to energy security in the context of the EU-Russia-Ukraine triangle. Ms. Hurska is also interested in closely examining regional organizations and Ukraines role in these regions.
